Below are a series of questions we often receive from customers who want to register for Morningstar Mutual Funds Online:

Where exactly can I find my subscription ID?
Your subscription ID is a series of numbers that appears on the outer envelope in which you receive your issues of Morningstar Mutual Funds. The ID is the first group of numbers above your name. Here's an example:

If you are a new subscriber and have not yet received your first issue, your subscription ID appears on the box in which you received your binder. Specifically, look for the numbers that appear above your name on the mailing label.

There are letters after my subscription ID. Do I type those in, too?
No. You only need to type in the numbers that appear above your name--no letters.

I can‘t find my subscription ID. Can you give it to me?
Yes. Please email us at MMF@morningstar.com and we will email you with your subscription ID within one business day. (Please be sure that your spam blocker, if you have one, allows you to receive emails from us.) Or call us at 312-424-4288 and we will provide you with the information you need.

I am already a registered member on another Morningstar web site. Do I need to register for Morningstar Mutual Funds Online , too?
Yes, you will need to register separately for Morningstar Mutual Funds Online even if you are already registered on another Morningstar web site.

I am already a registered member on another Morningstar web site. Can I use the same password on Morningstar Mutual Funds Online ?
Yes. If you register on Morningstar Mutual Funds Online with the same email address that you used to register for another Morningstar web site, you will be required to use the same password.

I am a non-U.S. customer and am entering my country in the zip code field. However, I‘m unable to register.
Please be sure to enter the country exactly as it appears on the outer envelope in which you receive your issue of Morningstar Mutual Funds. If you still have trouble registering, please contact us at MMF@morningstar.com and we will respond within one business day. I am trying to register and keep receiving the message: “The combination of Subscription Id and zip code is not valid.”
Be sure that you‘ve entered your subscription ID without any letters and your zip code correctly. If you have and still cannot register, it is possible that your subscription to Morningstar Mutual Funds has expired. (Morningstar Mutual Funds Online is only available to current Morningstar Mutual Funds subscribers). To check the status of your subscription, please contact us at MMF@morningstar.com and we will respond within one business day.
